The steps prior to the creation and sale of a trompe l'œil are: inspection of the area where it will be inserted, sketches, estimates and sale.

The artist creates a trompe l'œil that blends together with the architecture and furniture. If the client lives far then he/she can send a picture of the area where the trompe l'œil will be inserted. A sketch and an estimate will then be issued. The piece may be created on panels, canvas, paintings (canvas on a frame) or directly on the wall. In these cases, in addition to the piece, the client must pay for delivery costs and/or travelling expenses. The colours used are washable therefore the piece is easy to care for.
