Still life

In making a still-life the first step is the composition, the message or feeling that you want to transmit, colour research and finally the creation.

For this type of painting the artist loves inserting draperies, which requires a certain technical capacity and skill, or glass objects and fruit. In making these paintings the real challenge is to recreate the three-dimensional perspective of the objects. Still-life paintings capture the cultures and customs of a certain period of time or population. If the artist is given the task of creating still-life paintings she must first prepare sketches before actually making them and selling them.
